Foxes can often be spotted in burrows and bushes, sometimes even in our bins.

But footage has been captured on one resident’s Ring doorbell camera of a pair of them playing on the roof of a car.

The furry creatures were recorded jumping on top of the car and into a hedgerow in Poplar Grove, Allington, near Maidstone.

Usually shy animals, the foxes showed off their boisterous side as they enjoyed their evening unperturbed by humans.

The footage was caught at around 2.39am on Tuesday morning by resident Elton Barnett.

He told KentOnline: “I thought it looked like they were having fun playing hide and seek but was surprised to see them on my car.

“The playful foxes had no respect for my Mondeo.”

No lasting damage had been caused by the furry friends but the pair have left a lasting memory for Elton to enjoy.
