Queues are beginning to clear after a three-car crash closed a stretch of the M20.

All traffic was held after the smash between Junction 3 (M26) to Junction 4 (A228 Castle Way, Leybourne and Snodland).

Congestion was backing up to Junction 2 (Brands Hatch) and also building on the M26 past Junction 2A (Wrotham) following the Coastbound crash.

Emergency services attended the scene but all lanes are now open.

There are delays of around half an hour as of 6.45pm.

The accident comes after there were huge tailbacks on the M25 yesterday after a four-vehicle crash.
