Travellers have pitched up on a recreation ground.

The group appeared near the Ditton Community Centre, Ditton last night.

Officers attended and liaised with the land owners, Ditton Parish council.

Today (August 1), those present were issued with a direction to leave notice by officers, under Section 61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act.

Ditton Parish Council has been contacted for a comment.
