A man and woman have been arrested following a theft from a service station.

Officers were called to a reported disturbance in Holborough Road, Snodland, at 3.45am today.

A 22-year-old man from Chislehurst was arrested nearby on suspicion of theft and a 24-year-old woman from Snodland was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, assaulting a police officer and a public order offence.

Both remain in police custody.
