Crews have been called to two fires in the Malling area during the latest fire strike.

At 1.30pm they tackled a fire underneath a van on the M20 between J4 at Leybourne and J5 at Aylesford.

No one was injured and the cause of the blaze is not thought to be suspicous.

The fire was out by 2.15pm but one lane remained closed London bound at 3.35pm.

They were also called to a car alight in Lughorse Lane, Yalding at 1.20pm. They left the scene at 2pm.

Members of the Fire Brigade Union downed their hoses between 12pm to 2pm in the latest round of strikes.
