It may just look a bit of an eyesore to you - but to one homeowner it's a fine of £250!
Medway Council is warning reluctant gardeners they could be prosecuted for failing to tidy up their patch of lawn.
The overgrown garden pictured was full of rubbish - including a rotting bath, old tyres, a rusty fridge and an old armchair. And it wasn't even fenced off, leaving the mess on show for everyone to see.
Mr Bhupinder Singh, 52, of Natal Road, Chatham, has now been convicted at Medway Magistrates' Court.
He pleaded guilty, and was handed a £250 fine. He was also ordered to pay £120 in costs and a £15 surcharge.
