For hundreds of A-level students across Medway the waiting is finally over. The results are in!
The sound of envelope ripping has been filling the air, quickly followed by shrieks of delight, or stony silent despair.
Being generally nosy and interested in the daily affairs of our readers and their families it would be great to know how you got on.
So far we've heard from Rochester Independent College and Chapter School for Girls who both seem pleased with how things have gone.
One happy pair at Chapter were Rachel Meathrel, 19, and Natalie Larkman, 18, who both did better than expected and are heading off to university in Canterbury in September.
Rachel picked up Bs in law and business and will be studying law. She said: 'I'm really pleased, I did better than I thought I would and I can't wait to go to university."
Natalie will be studying geography with social care. She said: "It was really good because we both did better than we expected.
It was not only A-Level students coming to the end of their long wait for results. B-Tech and AS students also had the nerve-wracking experience of discovering their grades.
Jags Singh, 19, was over the moon at scooping merits and passes in his ICT and Business B-Techs. He said: "I plan to get a job, a really good job hopefully with these results.'
For AS student Neelam Singh her Cs in maths and product design are inspiration for next year's academic challenges.
There mayve have been a mix of successes and disapointments but head teacher Sue Dore was proud of all her students.
She said: "Over all I'm really pleased. Some students will be disapointed and some will be really happy, but I'm very proud of how they've all have done."
Medway student Sahab Sarwar celebrated a dramatic turnaround in academic grades - five grade As and a place to study dentistry at Leeds University.
He took a one year retake programme at Rochester Independent College.
Joe Becci from Hempstead celebrated three Grade As in Fine Art, Graphic Design and Photography. He was home-educated until joining the Star Hill College to take GCSEs and A-levels.
He is set to enrol on a foundation course at the University of the Creative Arts in Rochester.
