A CHOIR of orphans take to the stage in the Medway Towns tonight.
The Watato Choir from Uganda will perform at the Emmaus Church Centre, Clover Street, Chatham from 7pm.
The youngsters - aged between six to 12 - recently sang for HM The Queen and will again entertain the audience with a mixture of stories, dance and song.
Chatham and Aylesford MP Jonathan Shaw will be in the audience.
He said: "I understand each child in the choir has experienced tremendous personal tragedy, having lost one or both parents in the African AIDS crisis or other calamaties.
"I am pleased that we are providing them with a forum, here in Monday. They were invited by Her Majesty the Queen to sing at Buckingham Palace last November and also featured at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings in Kampala.
"The children are rebuilding lives and homes/whole communities in Uganda through spreading a message of hope for Africa's children."
