The air ambulance was called after a person was found collapsed and injured earlier today.

Paramedics also attended the scene in Crutches Lane, Strood, at around 2.45pm, where the individual was in a serious condition and given emergency treatment.

They were then taken to Medway Maritime Hospital in an ambulance.

Kent Police have been approached for comment.
