The family of David Brookes, who died suddenly in his sleep, are inviting everyone who knew him to say their final farewells.
Popular cricketer, much loved son, brother and boyfriend David, 23, was found dead at his home in Strood 11 days ago.
His funeral arrangements were announced this week and parents Barry Brookes and Michelle Milford, his brother Tom and sister Rachael are welcoming all to attend.
A service will be held at Medway Crematorium on Monday, March 20 at 12.45pm. A wake will follow at Warren Wood Social Club in Warren Wood Road, Rochester.
Mourners are not requested to wear formal funeral attire, but are invited to wear a black item of clothing as it was David’s favourite colour.

His parents said their elder son was “a lovely lad who had everything to live for”. He had spent the previous evening with Lisa Rastall, also 23, his girlfriend of two months.
David was a technician at the Hollywood Bowl, bowling alley in Strood, a job he started three months ago, which he loved.
He was in his third season with Lordswood Cricket Club and, like the rest of his family enjoyed playing the Kentish pub game, bat and trap.
The cause of his death is not yet known but he had suffered from seizures since he was 16 and was on medication. The family are awaiting results of toxicology tests.
