A family who helped a foodbank collect two tons of donations have decorated their home in a new charity fundraiser.
The Hedges have turned the front of their property in Wigmore Road, Gillingham, into a fun spring scene to raise money for Diabetes UK and collect more items for Medway Foodbank.
Fundraiser Lavinia organised it with her parents Nicola and Cleve.
The 24-year-old said: "We did it about a month ago, and although it is now celebrating Easter it was put up to mark spring.
"We put up the displays to not only collect items for the foodbank but also raise money for charities through our GoFundMe pages."
Mr and Mrs Hedges are also foster parents and have decorated their house for fundraising throughout most of the years seasons.
Last year they had a display for autumn and Christmas.
Children's entertainer Lavinia continued: "This time we wanted to raise money for Diabetes UK as it is a charity very close to our hearts.
"My auntie Karen had diabetes throughout her life and passed away at 66 in February.
"We also want to help the foodbank as we understand the difficulties people are facing at the moment due to the pandemic."
Diabetes UK campaigns for improvements in the care and treatment of people with the illness.
So far, the family have raised more than £600 for the charity and have donated two collections of food to the foodbank.
A trolley sits on the drive and people are welcome to donate items while out on their daily walks.
Lavinia added: "We've had lots of neighbourly support and we even went viral on Facebook."
The outdoor display includes, bunnies, carrots, lights, projectors and Easter-themed decorations.
