Air ambulance lands in school field after concerns raised for man's welfare in Lordswood

The air ambulance landed in a school field in Chatham after reports for the concern of the welfare of a man living in Lordswood.
The emergency helicopter touched down at Swingate Primary School, in Sultan Road earlier this afternoon after police and paramedics were called out to the man's home nearby.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 2.53pm due to concern for the welfare of a man inside a private residential address.
"Officers are currently in attendance along with ambulance staff but no offences have been reported."
A spokesman for the air ambulance added: "At 3.10pm, Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance was called to a medical emergency in Chatham."
