Police investigating after burglary at house in Canterbury Street, Gillingham

A house was broken into in the early hours in a burglary while the residents were sleeping.

Detectives investigating the incident in Gillingham on Tuesday have now released a CCTV image.

The property in Canterbury Street was targeted between 2.50am and 3.05am after a man reportedly forced entry to the house.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses who can help identify the man in the picture released to contact them.
