An appeal has been launched to help find a missing teenager.

Dylan Young, 16, was last seen in the Maidstone Road area in Rochester at about 8am on Monday (July 1).

Dylan is described as white with short brown hair, a broad build and around 5’ 9” tall.

He was wearing a t-shirt, hooded top, jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers. The colours of the clothing are unknown.

It is believed he may have travelled to Essex.

Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 999 and quote reference 01-1732.

UPDATE: A 16-year-old boy who it is thought may have travelled with Dylan, and who was also reported missing, has now been safely found, police say.
