Officers are investigating after arsonists set light to two cars in Chatham last night.

Police were called just before 1am to a report that two vehicles parked in Kingston Crescent and Camden Close had been set alight.

Social media posts suggest the arsonists used "petrol bombs".

Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended to extinguish the fires. No one was injured.

Officers attended and carried out initial enquires, but no arrests were made.

Inquiries continue.
