Attempted mugging of a woman in Lords Wood Lane, Chatham, in alleged early morning attack

Police are investigating a report of an attempted robbery on a woman.
It is alleged a man tried to grab a woman’s handbag in the Lords Wood Lane area of Chatham at around 7.15am, on Saturday November 1.
At this stage the incident is not thought to be linked to other similar reported attacks.
A police spokeswoman said: "Inquiries are ongoing."
