A biker is in a serious condition in a London hospital after a crash late last night.

The incident happened just after midnight in Gillingham Road, Gillingham near the junction with Duncan Road.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “We were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) at 12.05am on Thursday, September 12 to a collision involving a motorcycle in Gillingham Road, Gillingham, near its junction with Duncan Road.

“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries.

“He was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.”

SECAmb has been approached for comment.
