Commuters experienced delays after a crash closed a section of Blue Bell Hill this afternoon.

The smash - between a car and motorbike - happened on the A229 south-bound between the M2 J3 and Lower Warren Road at Aylesford.

It happened at about 5.30pm and the carriageway was briefly closed. Two lanes were re-opened by 6pm.

However, traffic build up from the M2 slip road and the Highways Agency warned motorists to avoid the area.
