Three men posing as police officers are alleged to have intimidated a driver with a crowbar.

Detectives are appealing for information to the robbery in Strood early this morning.

Police were called to Allington Drive near the junction with Rede Court Road at 6.05am.

A man in his 50s was driving home from work when a small white van pulled in front of him to make him stop.

Three men reportedly claimed to be police officers and ordered him out of the car. One of them is said to have stuck the car with a crowbar.
