Adam Dingsdale is aiming for big things after joining the professional boxing ranks.

The Hoo fighter makes his debut in the pro game on November 4 at the Doncaster Dome against the vastly-experienced Kristian Laight.

Dingsdale fights out of the Unique Fitness Centre and Fight School in Chatham and after excelling on the amateur stage, wants to challenge the best on the professional circuit.

He said: "The fight can’t come quick enough. I aim to be looking at fighting for a domestic title inside two years and before that, I just want to build up a nice unbeaten record."

Dingsdale is training twice a day in preparation for his fight and has a manager in Stefy Bull who has already guided Jamie McDonnell to the European, Commonwealth and British title in the bantamweight division.

After quitting kickboxing at an early age, Dingsdale joined the Brompton Boxing Club where under the tutelage of Billy Beck he went on to earn a fearsome reputation as an amateur.

"Billy Beck was a brilliant trainer for me," said Dingsdale.

He represented England five times, was a four-time Southern Counties champion and a senior ABA semi-finalist this year.
