Shoppers looking to grab a Boxing Day bargain will now be able to travel between Kent and the capital.
Stagecoach Express has put on additional services between Canterbury, Medway and The O2 in Greenwich, London, on the Bank Holiday.
It will run an hourly service along the M2 throughout the day and evening in the absence of trains.
The coaches will also stop at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham.
Final buses will depart the capital shortly after 11pm.
While the prospect of scouting out bargains in the sales will please some, others will not be so pleased.
One such person is pensioner Gwen Tripp who slammed Bluewater Shopping Centre, in Greenhithe, this week after the mall said it would remain open for the holiday.
The 88 year-old had called for the complex to close for the day, adding it had blighted surrounding homes and roads with traffic and pollution ever since it was built.
This was even worse on Boxing Day, the former parish councillor claimed.
“When I was young it was lovely to have the family at home at Boxing Day," she said.
"It’s family time. Surely people have got enough in their houses to go over Boxing Day without going to the shops for one day.”
Stagecoach is urging people to reserve their seat to avoid disappointment.
