Police appeal after crash in Hempstead Road, Gillingham, puts 12-year-old in hospital

Police are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being involved in a car accident.

The incident happened in Hempstead Road, near the alleyway connecting it with Almond Grove, at 1.35pm on Saturday, September 15.

The boy was riding a black bicycle and was involved in a collision with a white Mitsubishi Outlander.

Officers have closed Hempstead Road (4187288)

He suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that may assist the investigation.
