Boy, 14, stabbed four times in stomach on footpath off Albany Road in Luton area of Chatham

A boy was stabbed on a footpath by a stranger in a broad daylight attack after refusing to hand over his phone and wallet to a man.
The 14-year-old was walking through the area known as The Trails, off Albany Road, in the Luton area of Chatham on Friday morning.
He was reportedly approached by a man, not known to the victim, who then demanded the items at about 11.30am.
When he declined, the victim was said to have been knifed four times in the stomach and the offender ran off.
The teenager managed to phone 999 and was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.
The offender is described as being white, aged 40 to 45 and about 5ft 10ins.
He was slim and had dark curly hair, brown eyes and a beard.
He had an "unkempt appearance with his dark clothing also appearing dirty", a police spokesman said.
