Boy, 16, left seriously injured after being hit by two cars, chased and attacked in Chatham High Street

A 16 year-old boy was hit by two cars, chased and then attacked, leaving him with serious injuries.

Police have launched a witness appeal for information about the incident, which happened in Chatham High Street, on Friday night.

It is alleged the victim, from Chatham, was struck by two cars before being chased and assaulted. He is currently in hospital where his condition is said to be serious but stable.

Two men aged 18 and 19 have been arrested in connection with the incident. They are currently in custody. The pair and the victim are known to each other.

The incident happened on the high street at the junction with Upbury Way between 7.30pm and 8.15pm.

Officers are seeking to speak with a further two suspects.
