Rochester Bridge was closed in both directions on Saturday night after two cars crashed near the Crown pub on the high street.

A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the crash at 7.25pm.

Police officers, paramedics and firefighters were sent to the scene and reports on social media said one of the cars had rolled over.

The road was closed until the vehicles were recovered.
