Bus driver and passenger terrorised by thugs who stopped bus on journey through Walderslade, Chatham

A bus driver and his passenger were terrorised by a group of thugs who took over his bus.
The bus was travelling through Walderslade on Saturday evening when it was stopped by a group of people near the junction of Sultan Road, Chatham.
Kent Police confirmed that they were called at 6.28pm to a report of a disturbance involving a group of people who were said to be in possession of weapons.
The bus driver, who was working for Farleigh Coaches, had one passenger on board at the time.
Kent Police officers, including firearms officers arrived at the scene at around 6.45pm, by which time, the gang had left the area.
No injuries were reported and officers did not locate any weapons.
Kent Police also confirmed that no threats were made to members of the public.
Kent Police press officer Vicki Foster said: "Officers carried out a search of the area however no arrests were made. Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
