Missy Carnation has had a hard life living on the streets of Strood. Now this black and white cat has been rescued her life could change for the better, especially if a home can be found for her in time for Christmas.

Fosterer Bobbie Bajwa said: ”She is a gorgeous cat who must have been a pet at some point and was abandoned.

“Missy Carnation could be a dream cat to someone willing to put the time in.

Missy Carnation is looking for a new home.

“She needs encouragement, nurturing and it feels like she needs to be reassured that she’s OK.

“When she trusts you she loves a good head stroke and seems to want more contact.

“Missy Carnation will need to be an indoor cat until she bonds with a new owner and she will definitely need to stay in over the winter. We are looking for a calm home without young children.”

She has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and flea and worm treated.

Tristan and Isolde, two kittens from Missy Carnation’s last litter are also in need of a new home.

Bobbie said: “After a couple of weeks in our care these 10-week-old brother and sister have really blossomed.

Tristan and Isolde are looking for a new home.

“They can be slightly nervous, but with a bit of patience, play and food, a new owner will soon win them over.”

Black and white boy Tristan is gentle, while his tortoiseshell sister is more independent and energetic.

Both kittens are very playful and love their food. They enjoy a fuss and have started to purr.
