An elderly driver crashed into bollards at the front of a supermarket, hitting a man pushing a pushchair.
A mother was seen in tears after a Ford Mondeo, driven by a pensioner, was involved in the crash in the car park of Aldi in Duncan Road, Gillingham, at about 1.45pm.
The man pushing the pushchair is thought to have suffered a minor injury to his leg.
A police officer was seen talking to the driver of the car at the time of the crash.
A police spokesman said they were treating it as an accident, and all parties had exchanged details in the Aldi cafe following the crash.
Laura, from Gillingham, was doing her weekly shop when she heard a loud bang.
She said: "I heard a scream and a lot of commotion, and suddenly staff started shouting to ring a bell to get the attention of a manager.
"A mother holding her young child came into the store really crying. She was taken into the manager's office.
"I went outside to see what was going on and I just saw this car rammed into a bollard.
"I'm not sure how bad it all was."
