Chatham boss Paul Foley admits his side will be underdogs for the second weekend running when they face unbeaten Met Police in Ryman League, Division 1 South at Imber Court on Saturday.

Boosted by the 1-0 win at Whyteleafe in midweek and having taken a point off leaders Leatherhead, Foley said: "They are yet to drop a point so it will be another tough game, but we are looking much tougher. They will have to drop points to someone."

Foley (pictured) is crediting Anthony Hogg with the winner against Whyteleafe on Tuesday, although others claimed it was an own goal, for their fifth league win of the season.

Maidstone referee Ollie Jackson passed the heavy Church Road pitch fit and Foley said: "Whyteleafe is a tough place to go and get a result but we set the side up with plenty of experience, and physical presence."

Good work by Kevin Winchcombe and Ray Powell set up the goal for Hogg, whose shot hit a defender’s hand in the box and, amid appeals for a penalty, wrong-footed keeper Rob O’Hara and trickled in.

David Hunt came through 90 minutes in the reserves on Tuesday but Kevin Watson suffered a recurrence of hamstring trouble.
