Firefighters called to shed fire in Springvale, Rainham

Firefighters were called after a hot cigarette sparked a shed fire.
Two fire engines attended the scene in Springvale, Rainham, just before midnight.
Crews put out the blaze using a hose reel jet.
No injuries were reported and the fire is believed to have been started by a hot cigarette.
Crews are reminding smokers to always make sure cigarettes and other smoking materials are fully stubbed out in a sturdy ashtray, and cold before disposal.
