Concern for missing pensioner Harjit Chaggar, last seen in Chatham

Missing woman Harjit Chaggar

Police are looking for a pensioner who failed to return home after a visit to the doctor.

Harjit Chaggar, 69, was last seen leaving the King’s Family Practice in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, at around 3.30pm on Monday.

Her family contacted police after they became concerned about her as she is not in good health and her disappearance is out of character.

Mrs Chaggar, who is from the Chatham area, is Asian, about 5ft 2in

She was wearing glasses and was last seen wearing a rusty orange coloured full-length Indian dress suit and carrying a brown handbag.

Anybody with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
