A man reported missing has been found safely.

Michael Foster was last seen in Strood yesterday evening and had not been heard from since, police said.

An appeal to the public to help find the 41-year-old was launched this afternoon and at about 8pm officers confirmed he had been located.

Police thanked the public for their help in the appeal.

Anyone with information which can help locate him is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 27-0206.
