Police called to Gillingham station after concerns raised for woman's welfare

A woman is being looked after following concerns for her welfare at a railway station.

Police were called to Gillingham station shortly after 5.30am.

Officers attended after worries about her safety were reported to British Transport Police.

A spokesman for the force said the woman was taken to a place of safety by officers.
