Medway man Paul Stone accused of burglary at Wainscott home

A couple discovered a man in their kitchen late at night during the middle of a suspected burglary.

The pair were sitting in their living room at home in Wainscott when they heard a noise coming from another part of the house.

The case was heard at Medway Magistrates' Court

When they went to check out the disturbance they found a stranger in the room.

Police arrested a man in the property after they were called to the house in Hollywood Lane at about 11.30pm on Friday.

Paul Stone has now been in court to face a charge of burglary against him.

The 44-year-old of Hyacinth Road, Strood, appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday.

He has been remanded in custody and will now stand before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court on July 13.
