Re-wind to yesterday and Rochester Castle Gardens was filled with garage and RnB tunes when Craig David took to the stage.

1990's music fans were fist pumping and jumping inside the historic grounds to the best of his hits last night.

His performance followed Rudimental's who were there on Wednesday night.

Craig David was a hit with the audience

First up was YouTube sensation Samantha Harvey. The relatively new singer on the scene is known for her covers on social media.

She performed some of her original tracks such as Dominoes and also re-styled some well known songs to get the audience pumped for the main show.

Joined by her band the Scottish singer-songwriter performed some of her favourite songs from her new album, The Sun will Come Up, The Seasons will Change.
Her song Loyal To Me was one to get the crowd bopping along, she was a breath of fresh air throughout her set and I loved it so much I downloaded her album straight after the show.
The next wait was the most intense. The MC announced that Craig David was backstage and instructed the audience to cheer, 'we love Craig David'.

His entourage walked onto the stage as lights starting to shine onto the audience and an acoustic version of What If began to play.

As he swaggered onto the stage the song dialled up a notch and remixed into the hit song Heartline.

Before moving on the next song he did a small introduction and wished Jess Glynne well after she pulled out due to ill health.

The kind-hearted message was met by a crowd of boos.

The nominee of 14 Brit Awards then stun the crowd with a throwback to his early career, performing his song What's Your Flava.

When the set was finally done, the crowd began calling for more and so the star returned to the stage for one more song.

He began with a slowed down version of his 2000 hit Rendezvous which then turned into his Fill Me In remix which was originally done with David Guetta.
