Craig David has posted footage of himself rehearsing for tonight's gig at Rochester Castle.

The chart topping R&B artist posted footage of himself ahead of the historic castle gig this afternoon.

The Brit Award nominee will be performing on stage later this evening and will return on Thursday for a second gig after tickets for his first announced concert sold out within an hour.

The Rochester gigs form part of his long awaited UK tour, which kicked off earlier this year.

The singer and songwriter gave his fans a sneak preview of what's in store for them later this evening.

He tweeted: “Who’s ready for night 1 of my Rochester Castle shows tonight ?#Rochester #Castleconcerts”

He then tweeted this video.

Gates open at 5pm with the show beginning with entertainment starting at about 7.30pm.

Extra security measures are in place this year at the historic site.
