Traffic was stopped from passing a collision on a motorway.

Highways England traffic officers have been at the scene of a two vehicle crash on the M2.

It happened on the coastbound carriageway between junction four Hoath Way, Gillingham, and J5 for Sittingbourne.

One lane has been closed.

Police assistance was not required and the crash is being dealt with by Highways England.
