Emergency services called to Hoath Way, Gillingham after two cars end up on their roofs following crash

A man was taken to hospital this morning after his car crashed with another one in Gillingham, leaving both vehicles on their roofs.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Hoath Way at 6.30am after reports of the two-car collision.

One of the cars ended up on the bank while the other rested on its roof further down the carriageway.

The crash left both cars on their roofs

Both drivers were treated for minor injuries with one man taken to hospital for further treatment. It is believed a woman was also in one of the cars but was unhurt.

The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.
