A three-car crash on the London-bound carriageway of the M2 caused traffic delays this morning (Thursday, Aug 20).

It happened shortly after 8am between the Chatham and Strood turn-offs.

One of the cars involved overturned and ended up on his side.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to get a man out of the vehicle.

It is not thought he has suffered serious injury.

The road was cleared just before 10am.
