Emergency crews called to Gillingham car fire

Emergency services were called after a car was set alight near Medway Hospital in Gillingham last night.

Police received a report of a car alight in Longfellow Road, Gillingham, at 9.23pm.

Officers attended alongside firefighters, who extinguished the fire.

The cause is believed to be suspicious and officers are conducting ongoing enquiries into the incident.
