Seven cygnets have been born at Capstone Farm Country Park.
Mother pen and her seven babies were first seen on the lake on Monday, May 15.
Staff at the Chatham park announced the arrival of the ‘fluffy’ baby swans on Wednesday, May 17.
It read: “first seen on the lake with their parents on Monday morning, just a couple of days difference from the arrival of last years brood.
“Please give them space as the parents will be extra protective at the moment.
“And remember if you’re feeding them please try and feed duck food, grains or veggies like peas and sweet corn and not bread as this has no nutritional value for them.”
Last year, trail cameras were placed near the nest and have spotted mother pen with her seven babies.
The first of seven eggs, which is the maximum number of eggs a female swan can lay, hatched at about 4.30am on May 13.
The park's ranger team had placed the cameras in advance and managed to capture the first clear shot of the cygnets a couple of days later.
