A mother has made a desperate appeal for her missing teenage son to get in touch after four days.
Danny Mountford, 14, has been missing from his home in Byron Road, Gillingham, since Friday evening.
The boy ran out of the house at about 8.30pm and has not been in contact with his mother since. He had no money with him and does not have a mobile phone.
He is described as 6ft, with green eyes, blond/brown hair and has braces on his top and bottom teeth.
He was last seen wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit with blue stripes and navy Fred Perry trainers.
Danny was seen by his grandmother in Chatham High Street yesterday. Police have been searching the area.
Mother Kelly-Anne Sharp said: "He hasn't got a coat with him and it is so cold. I have been everywhere searching for him.
"He has gone missing before, but not like this. He was found the next day. This time I knew it was different. I rang the police as soon as he left on Friday.
"I just want him to come home. Or if he doesn't want to come home, to go to his nan's. I just want to know that he is OK and that he is warm. I'm so scared."
Anyone who has seen Danny recently or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to phone police on 101 quoting reference 01-0748.
