Two drug dealers suspected of selling in Kent have been locked up after being found with around £28,000 worth of Class A drugs.

Tai Diedrick, 19 and Shaquille Boreland, 22, both of Parry Road, South Norwood, were jailed at Woolwich Crown Court after admitting supplying the illegal substances.

Diedrick was sentenced to four years and one month while Boreland has been put behind bars for three years and five months after being charged with two charges each of possessing a controlled drug of class A with intent to supply.

The pair were targeted by Kent Police officers after they suspected them of dealing in Medway.

Inside a bedroom at the address officers found Diedrick and Boreland along with a quantity of cocaine and heroin.

They also found a plastic carrier bag which had been thrown from a bedroom window.

The value of these drugs found were estimated to be around £28,000 and Diedrick’s finger marks were found on the bags.

Other drugs which were also discarded outside the bedroom window were forensically linked to Boreland by his DNA.

Investigating officer DC Daniel Bister said: "Kent Police works hard to bring drug dealers to justice and I’m pleased we’ve been able to get two more dealers off the streets.

"They were found with a large amount of drugs which would have been sold to a lot of vulnerable people.

‘I hope these sentences act as a reminder to others that crime does not pay."
