Services have been delayed between Gravesend and Strood due to a broken down freight train.

Southeastern reported the breakdown just before 11.30am, and said trains could be delayed or cancelled while they worked to resolve the issue.

A rescue train was sent to help clear the broken down train, which was reported to be 'on the move' at 11.50am

Delays remain likely due to the incident.
