Crash on M2 near Strood

Two lanes of the M2 were blocked after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

It happened London-bound just before junction 2 for Strood/Rochester at around 8.40am.

Two lanes were closed until 10.10am, with traffic backing up to junction 3 for Chatham/Rochester.

A police spokesman earlier said: "Officers are currently at the scene and, at present, no serious injuries have been reported.

"A live lane is reported to be blocked as a result of the collision and motorists are advised to approach with caution and expect delays."
