Three vehicles were involved in a crash in the Medway Tunnel.

The Strood-bound carriageway was partially blocked following the accident on the A289 just after 3pm.

Traffic was queuing back towards Gillingham but the lanes were cleared just before 5pm.

Earlier a police spokesman said: "Officers are currently at the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

"No serious injuries have been reported."
