A woman was punched in the face outside toilets in Twydall Green, Gillingham and the attacker made off with her purse

A woman was punched in the face and robbed of her purse by a man near toilets near a parade of shops in Gillingham.

The incident has prompted police to issue an e-fit image of a man they would like to question about the robbery.

Detectives investigating the robbery say the woman, who was in her 60s, suffered minor injuries during the attack which happened at about 9.45pm on Wednesday, November 12, but details have only just been released by police.

The robbery occurred near to the public toilets in Twydall Green, Twydall and officers say the suspect is a thin white man.
