Suspected drink-driver arrested in New Road, Chatham, after crash

A suspected drink-driver has given a breath test reading almost six times the legal limit.
Police were called to the A2 New Road in Chatham earlier today after a crash.
Officers suspected one driver was intoxicated and requested a breath test which provided a result of 200.
This is nearly six times the legal limit of 35.
The driver was arrested, Kent Police Medway said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Police have been contacted for more information.
