A manhunt is underway for a driver who fled the scene of a crash involving five vehicles.

Officers were called to Watling Street, Gillingham, at about 8.30pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said paramedics were also sent to the road, which was blocked but reopened shortly after 10pm.

They added a driver fled and work is underway to track to track him down.

No injuries were reported.
