Karl Smith from Walderslade charged with selling class A drugs after a police search also uncovered firearms

A man in possession of a gun has been charged with supplying a class A drug.
Karl Smith, from Walderslade, has been charged with nine offences, after detectives investigated a drug supply in Kent.
A warrant was carried out in Alexandra Glen, Walderslade, on 20 January.
They found firearms and ammunition, money, cars and jewellery.
A subsequent search of a property in Rumstead Lane, Hucking, found a large quantity of drugs, including MDMA and cannabis.
The 41-year-old has been charged with:
- Two counts of possessing criminal property
- Supplying a class A drug
- Two counts of possession with intent to supply
- Two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a firearm certificate
- Failing to comply with the conditions of a shotgun certificate
- Failing to notify the transfer of a shotgun
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on February 9.
